ARISA strengthens partnership with Craemer through the commissioning of a new 2,500-ton servo press in Slovakia

ARISA, a leading manufacturer of high-performance servo presses and metal forming solutions, has successfully commissioned a new 2,500-ton servo press at the Craemer Group’s production facility in Liptovský Mikuláš, Slovakia. The installation marks another significant milestone in the long-standing partnership between both companies and supports Craemer’s continued investment in advanced manufacturing technologies.

The new servo press was officially inaugurated on 13 October 2026 in the presence of representatives from Craemer, ARISA, and key project partners. Designed for demanding forming applications, the press features a press force of 2,500 tonnes and a bed size of 8,000 x 2,500 mm, enabling the production of large and highly complex components.

The project builds on the successful cooperation between ARISA and Craemer, following the installation of an 800-ton servo press at Craemer’s Attendorn facility in Germany.

“Craemer’s decision to once again choose our team and technology is a strong sign of trust. We are delighted to support the company’s growth and the further development of its manufacturing operations,” says Diego Ariznavarreta, CEO of Nidec Arisa.

“With the new press, we are responding to increased production volumes at our Liptovský Mikuláš plant and expanding our capabilities in manufacturing complex formed components and processing high-strength steels,” explains Siegbert Geldner, Managing Director of the Craemer Group.

Designed for high off-centre loads

At its Slovak plant, Craemer manufactures complex seat structures for the automotive industry, among other products. The new servo press incorporates HELP technology (High Eccentric Load Press), which enables it to accommodate high off-centre loads. “The installation opens up new opportunities for forming components for industries beyond automotive,” adds Geldner.
